Julia Hidalgo, ScD, MSW, MPH - Principle Investigator
Dr. Hidalgo serves as Research Professor in Health Policy at the GWU SPHHS, and is the CEO of Positive Outcomes, Inc. (POI). She has worked for almost two decades in HIV planning, financing, and research at the local, State, and national levels.
  
Manya Mangus, PhD, MPH - Project Director
Manya Magnus is an Assistant Professor at the GWU SPHHS Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. An epidemiologist and a former nurse, Dr. Magnus is experienced with all facets of clinical trials, observational, and evaluation study implementation including study design, quality, and data management, instrument development and testing, training personnel on data collection and analysis methods, issues in clinical trials implementation, regulatory procedures, and grant writing.
 
John Hannay, MTS, CHES - Training and TA Coordinator
John Hannay's substantial experience with services for YCMSM at-risk for or infected with HIV began in 1986. He was a volunteer and development coordinator for the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL) in Washington, DC. At that time, he assisted SMYAL in constructing a health education program for youth that included HIV issues. He helped to secure public funding for SMYAL to conduct health education and risk reduction services with youth in the community.
   
Blaine Parrish, MA - Project Manager
Blaine Parrish is a Senior Research Scientist in the GWU Department of Health Policy. His HIV work over the last 15 years includes academic research, client services, project planning, administration, coordination, management, and evaluation. He has worked on the local, State, and Federal levels.
  
Karen Jones - Senior Research Scientist
Karen Jones is a Senior Research Scientist in the GWU SPHHS Biostatistics Center Medical Center Unit. She is detailed to the Department of Health Policy. Ms. Jones has had extensive experience in the application of quantitative research methods to a variety of studies.
   
Technical Assistance and Training Team
Diane Binson, PhD
Diane Binson is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Medicine, UCSF CAPS. Dr. Binson is a sociologist and brings considerable expertise in survey research methods, questionnaire construction, and survey analysis to this project. She is well recognized in the field of survey research, sexuality, and HIV, both nationally and internationally. 
   
Donna Futterman, MD
Donna Futterman is the Director of the Adolescent AIDS Program, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, New York where she has worked since 1989. Dr. Futterman is also a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
  
Dr. Jaime Martinez
Dr. Jaime Martinez serves as Director of HIV Services for Adolescents and Senior Attending Physician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Cook County Children’s Hospital. He also holds an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois.

Kristopher Wackerman is an independent software engineer and has over eight years of experience designing, building, and maintaining custom database and website applications. He is highly skilled in: Visual Basic 6.0/.NET, VBA, Transact SQL and SQL Server, ActiveX, ASP .NET, XML, HTML, and Microsoft Access.
